Baby Conlan’s Second Month
By the second month Gavin and I were getting the hang of things, but it was still nerve racking and we were exhausted. It wouldn’t be until the 6th week that we really hit our stride. We were experts in diaper changes, feeding, interpreting cries and packing a diaper bag. Conlan started developing more of a schedule and started sleeping at more regular intervals. Life was getting better and our little guy was growing in leaps and bounds. By 8 weeks he was cooing, trying to raise and steady his head to look around when being held and grasping at things. He also became more accustom to his bedtime routine. In his crib for the night at 7:30pm, sleep until 1:30ish, bottle, sleep until 5-6am and up for the day. We are so lucky!!!
Our friends Bill and Jennifer bought Conlan this pacifier
that has a stuffed dog attached. It keeps the pacifier in his mouth
when he falls asleep, so he doesn't wake up angry that it fell out.
Brilliant!

Conlan and his best bud Nubie lounging on the couch
they get seperate blankets on the couch to seperate them a bit, but that doesn't stop Conlan!
I caught him several times playing footsy with his fury pal.
Nubie didn't seem to mind.
